We are delighted that you are considering worshiping with us. We believe that once you arrive on campus or join us online, you will immediately feel like you are hanging out with your soon-to-be best friends. Our goal is that when you join us as a guest, you leave as friends.

If you are looking for a reason to be happier, healthier, and more excited about life, then you certainly don't want to miss a worship service at the United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches.

Coming into a room full of strangers can feel weird. So, we offer some answers to common questions to help overcome that "weirdness" feeling. Please know, it is our privilege and desire to do everything we can to help you feel right at home. So, come and join us this Sunday either at 9:00 or 11:15.

staff and leadership

The highest level of leadership that makes UMCPB a great place to call Home!

Tim May

senior Pastor

Tim May

senior Pastor

Tim became the lead pastor at the United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches in July 2020. He arrived here with his beautiful bride of 28 years, Jackie, and three fun-loving kiddos, Aniya, Melody, and Matthew. Tim is a Florida native but grew up all over the United States as a Navy “brat.”  He is also a retired Navy Chaplain, having served for just over 20 years on Active Duty and the Reserves. Upon graduating from Florida Southern College with a B.A. in Religion and Philosophy, he went to Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia. There he earned both his Master’s and Doctorate degrees. Tim doesn’t believe in spare time, so he calls it discretionary time (his time for recalibrating). During his recalibration time, he likes to hang out with the family, go for a run, watch documentaries on Netflix, or torment the family dog Farrah letting her “almost” catch lizards and squirrels.
